80s Movies

One of the great things about the 80s is the movies. 80s moveies are iconic, and there is nothing like them anymore. There are heaps of remakes of 80s movies, but nothing beats the originals. Special effects had started to revolutionise movies. The Ghostbusters movie was practically made up of special effects. Back then, special effects were new, interesting, and people loved it. Even movies with barley any special effects were (and in my opinion, still are) amazing. Take the Breakfast Club, for example. Probably no special effects in that movie but it was still a great movie. We cant give the director all the credit though, the actors and actresses were (obviously) a huge part of the movies. One of my all time faveourite 80s movies is Stand By Me. The movie makes you think, and realise many things. It has great quotes and is humourous but sad at the same time. Unike many uninteresting movies today, it kept you hooked.
